Meet Johanna Wallace Villanueva

Johanna is a Bay Area native who has worked as an educational therapist for over a decade. She holds Bachelor degrees in economics and sociology from the University of California at Davis and a Master degree in Education with a certificate in educational therapy from Holy Names University. She is a professional member of the National Association of Educational Therapists and regularly attends trainings and conferences on learning differences, learning and the brain, and intervention techniques.

Johanna has provided secondary evaluations and recommendations for Individualized Education Program (IEP) cases in the Bay Area, as well as representation at school IEP meetings. She works collaboratively with allied professionals such as speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and psychologists to provide integrated intervention services.

Johanna provides trainings and consultations for teachers, parents, allied professionals, and other educators.
